TAUPO HALLOWEEN FILM FESTIVAL
ABOUT

Taupō's 3rd biennial celebration of all things horror/comedy. Bringing the best short horror comedy films from local and international film-makers. It was a night filled with more thrills than you could poke a stick at. And those who braved the haunted walk enjoyed one of the scariest events Taupo had to offer. After making it into the cinema, taking their seats, viewers were in for a treat as the calibre of films was higher than ever. With some classics, The Silent Assassin, returning, and some new films from budding film-makers shinning.
Costume Competition

Some of the audience who dressed up, braved the Haunted walk and dared to go to watch the films at the Halloween Film Festival

SUPPORTING
16 year old Megan, has grown up battling Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy and in May 2018 underwent life changing SDR surgery in USA to remove spasticity in her legs as it's not funded in NZ. Expensive rehab for 3-5 years is needed to ensure Megan walks upright and eventually unaided. Taupo people wonderfully donated for her surgery and have adopted Megan and still follow her progress.
Thanks to all who purchased a TEE. With the help of those who purchased t-shirts we managed to raise a bunch of money for Megan and her on going treatment. You can learn more about her journey and find out how to support her at here
